Who we are

CLAW DSP is a trade name of CLAW DSP LLC, a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Florida, United States. We build and sell audio plugins and the licenses to use them. For anything at all, write to support@clawdsp.com.

The short version

You're buying a license to use CLAW DSP software, not the software itself. Use it on up to 2 of your machines, don't redistribute it, and we'll stay out of your way.

Your license

• Each purchase grants a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license.
• One license covers 2 simultaneous machine activations (e.g. studio + laptop). You can deactivate a machine yourself from your account at any time.
• You may use the software on client work, commercial releases and anything you produce. The license covers the tool, not your output — your music is yours.
• You may not resell, sublicense, share license keys or keyfiles, or attempt to circumvent license validation.

Digital delivery

When your purchase completes, the server records the order and issues a license key and cryptographically signed keyfile. Account access and any published installer links are then made available. We retain the Order and License records and, if you activate the plugin, the corresponding Activation records.

Checkout and payments

The checkout shows the transaction currency before payment. Stripe/Link transactions use Stripe Managed Payments. Stripe/Link is the merchant of record for those transactions. PayPal is a separate payment method processed directly through PayPal and is not part of Stripe Managed Payments.

Trials

Trial licenses are full-featured for 21 days and expire automatically at the end of the trial period. No charge, no auto-conversion.

Refunds

We offer a 30-day refund — see our Refund Policy. Refunding a purchase revokes its license on the server immediately, so later activation and validation requests are rejected. A paid installation can remain usable only until its next authenticated validation denial or its current signed offline authorization expires (at most 30 days), whichever happens first.

Accounts

Login is passwordless (a magic link to your email). Your email is your login, so keep access to it safe. If your email is compromised, contact support@clawdsp.com for recovery.

Acceptable use

Don't share your license or keyfiles, don't redistribute installers, and don't reverse engineer or circumvent the license system. We may suspend or revoke access if we detect fraud, abuse, resale, key sharing or attempts to defeat license validation.

Chargebacks and fraud

If you open a dispute or chargeback, we may provide the payment processor with records that exist for the transaction, including the Order, issued License and any recorded Activations. We may suspend the account while the case is resolved.

Warranty

The software is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it stable in every major DAW, but we can't guarantee it fits every setup. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CLAW DSP's total aggregate liability arising out of or related to the software or these terms will not exceed the amount you paid for the license giving rise to the claim. CLAW DSP will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost data or studio downtime.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, to the extent permitted by applicable law. You agree that any dispute related to these terms, your purchase, the digital license or the refund policy will be interpreted on that basis, unless an applicable U.S. federal or state law provides otherwise.

Changes

We may update these terms when needed. The version in force is the one published on this page.
